Just Can’t Get Enough ** (2002, Jonathan Aube, Shelley Malil, John Paul Pitoc) – Classic Movie Review 12,282

Writer/ director Dave Payne’s 2002 comedy drama film Just Can’t Get Enough tells the amusing, saucy story of the Chippendales’ rise to fame, capturing the mood and atmosphere nicely.

The well-oiled, muscular male strippers find that the sinister side of show business threatens to ruin their dreams.

It stars Jonathan Aube, Shelley Malil, and John Paul Pitoc, Rebekah Ryan, Peter Nevargic, Paul Edward Clark, Iva Hasperger, Don Raymond, Kira Reed, Peter Soby Jr, and Steven Zlotnick also appear.

It is written by Dave PayneWolf Larson and Dan Peterson

On August 10, 2008, Shelley Malil stabbed an ex-girlfriend, Kendra Beebe, 23 times in San Marcos, California. In September 2010, he was convicted of premeditated attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon, and sentenced to life imprisonment, but was paroled in September 2018. Beebe survived despite a severe cut to her chin, the collapse of both lungs, and the loss of half the blood in her body.

Chippendales was established in 1979 as the first all-male stripping troupe to make a business performing for mostly female audiences. They are seen annually by almost two million people worldwide, performing in more than 25 US cities, 23 Central and South America cities, 60 European cities, four Asian countries, and eight South African cities.
