Jesse Bradford is super as young Angus McCormick (aged 14), who finds himself washed ashore in the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest after a storm capsizes his boat at sea and separates him from his father John (Bruce Davison).

2

Armed with only his native cunning, wilderness survival skills and his intelligent trusted golden Labrador canine buddy Yellow Dog (played by Dakotah), Angus desperately battles to survive and attract rescue teams summoned by his dad and mom (Mimi Rogers).

This 1995 children’s movie provides stirring adventure entertainment for the young and young at heart It is beautifully photographed by cinematographer James Gardner and handled with tender loving care by writer-director Philip Borsos.
