Hunky action star Mark Dacascos brings his thrilling high-kicking athletic style to a hard-driving futuristic martial arts thriller.

In the year 2008, a young expert fighter (Mark Dacascos), cybernetically enhanced agent Toby Wong, who has stolen a new bio-tech cybernetic implant device from a sinister corporation, grabs a civilian bystander hostage, Malik Brody (Kadeem Hardison), while running from Chinese gangsters. So the duo then have to fight and kick their way to safety.

Maybe there is little wit and there are few surprises in the script of this mindless tosh, but there is an astounding amount of fast and furious martial arts action. The exciting thrills, stunts and fight s are virtually non-stop.

The film was released in cinemas in the UK, the Philippines and Japan, but premiered on HBO before being released straight-to-video in the US.

The US DVD, VHS and cable versions are cut by 20 minutes and run 98 minutes, replacing the original soundtrack with a techno-based score by Walter Werzowa.

The British DVD release is a Director’s Cut running 118 minutes. containing reinstated cut scenes and the original film score by David C Williams.
