Carol Morris plays Dorothy, the girl who was Born to Be Loved in this Hugo Haas romantic comedy tour-de-force. She’s a lonely seamstress with troubled eyesight, whipped up into enthusiasm for promising music pupil Eddie (Dick Kallman) by their eager middle-aged music teacher Professor Brauer (Hugo Haas). She returns the favour by getting wealthy widow Mrs Hoffmann (Vera Vague, aka Barbara Jo Allen)  interested in the Professor (Haas).

Born to Be Loved is fresh and quirky, out of the ordinary, and it has nice performances and a sweet spirit.

It is made by Hugo Haas Productions and released by Universal Pictures.
