Philip Embury stars in his wickedly funny 2016 LGBT-themed comedy film What My Love Is For, as a young gay writer who inherits his great granny’s crumbling East Hampton beach house.

Philip Embury wrote, produced, co-directed and stars in the wickedly funny 2016 LGBT-themed comedy film What My Love Is For, about a young gay writer, a self-critical country boy from Virginia, who inherits his beloved great grandmother’s crumbling East Hampton beach house.

Now, while grappling with the financial burden and with the bank set to foreclose by the end of the summer, he falls for a charming handsome young artist who tempts him to trade his independence for a wealthy lover to save their dreams and their budding romance.

Philip Embury’s script is likeable and amusing, and so is his performance, and the setting and scenery of course are gorgeous.
