Director William Whitney’s 1967 jungle adventure Tarzan’s Jungle Rebellion stars Ron Ely as Tarzan, who quells a rebellion, in two more episodes of the 1966-69 NBC TV show spliced up together as a cinema feature.

Ely looks the part but his acting is stiff, though Whitney’s handling is nimble enough, and the film enjoyable enough.

Also in the cast are Manuel Padilla Jr, Lloyd Haynes, Ulla Stromstedt, Sam Jaffe, William Marshall, Harry Lauter, Jason Evers, Nichelle Nichols and Charles Wood.

Tarzan’s Jungle Rebellion is directed by William Whitney, runs 92 minutes, is made by Banner Productions, is released by National General, is written by Jackson Gillis, is shot by Abrahan Vialla, is produced by Steve Shagan and is scored by Nelson Riddle.
