Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas *** (2003, voices Brad Pitt, Joseph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer) – Classic Movie Review 1753

To save his lifelong buddy Prince Proteus (voice of Joseph Fiennes), Brad Pitt’s sea-faring adventurer Sinbad battles Michelle Pfeiffer’s evil goddess Eris (vocally, at least) for a magic book, with the help of feisty Marina (voice of Catherine Zeta-Jones).

Directors Patrick Gilmore and Tim Johnson’s bright, fizzy and thoroughly enjoyable 2003 DreamWorks animated feature can proudly boast a fast pace, a nice, hearty spirit, ideal voices and first-rate drawing.

Dennis Haysbert (Kale), Timothy West (Dymas) and Adriano Giannini (Rat) are also among the vocal talents.

Johnson also co-directed Antz. Sinbad runs 90 minutes but the GB version is cut to 85 minutes.
