The 1983 adult animated feature Fire and Ice is an intriguing, entertaining and eye-catching Conan the Barbarian-style sword and sorcery dark fantasy cartoon from director Ralph Bakshi, in which an evil lord, Nekron (Sean Hannon), uses his magic against a good monarch, King Jarol (Leo Gordon), until a musclebound hero, the young warrior Larn (Randy Norton), and a sexy girl, Princess Teegra (Cynthia Leake), intervene.

Larn teams with the mysterious Darkwolf (Steve Sandor) to save the kidnapped Teegra and then they travel to the stronghold of Icepeak to stop the evil Queen Juliana (Eileen O’Neill) and her son Nekron.

Fire and Ice has attractive designs by famed Frank Frazetta, with animations using live footage.

Randy Norton plays Larn, Cynthia Leake plays Teegra, Steve Sandor plays Darkwolf, Sean Hannon plays Nekron, Eileen O’Neill plays Queen Juliana and Leo Gordon plays Jarol.

The characters are created by Ralph Bakshi and Frank Frazetta, and the screenplay is by Roy Thomas and Gerry Conway.
