The 1957 American Western film Apache Warrior stars Keith Larsen, Jim Davis, Rodolfo Acosta, John Miljan, Damian O’Flynn and George Keymas. It tells the true story of The Apache Kid.

Director Elmo Williams’s 1957 Black and White Western film Apache Warrior stars Keith Larsen as Katawan, aka The Apache Kid, Jim Davis as Ben Ziegler, Rodolfo Acosta as Marteen, and John Miljan as Chief Nantan. The screenplay is written by written by Carroll Young, Kurt Neumann and Eric Norden, based on a story by Carroll Young and Kurt Neumann.

The Apache Kid aids the capture of Geronimo and his band, and becomes a hunted renegade.

Indian scout Katawan (Keith Larsen) turns renegade when his brother is murdered by another Indian, but white scout Ben Ziegler (Jim Davis) is sent to bring him in.

Apache Warrior is old news but OK. It is a little moral Western, based on fact, telling the true story of The Apache Kid, with an ambiguous ending. John M Nickolaus Jr’s outside cinematography makes it look pretty good, but colour would help.

It is also known as Red Arrow, The Apache Kid, and The Long Knives (all working titles).

It was shot in Prescott, Arizona; Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park, Agua Dulce, California; and Corriganville, Ray Corrigan Ranch, Simi Valley, California.

It is made by Regal Films. Filming started in March 1957 and it was released by 20th Century Fox in July 1957.

It runs 74 minutes.

Haskay-bay-nay-ntayl (circa 1860 – 1890 or November 11, 1900 or September 4, 1907), better known as the Apache Kid, was an Apache outlaw.

Gaunt, Dehl Berti as Chikisin, Eugenia Paul as Liwana, Nick Thompson as Horse Trader, Eddie Little Sky as Apache, Michael Carr as Apache, Ray Kellogg as Bounty Hunter, Karl Davis as Bounty Man, David Carlile as Cavalry Leader, and Allan Nixon as Bounty Hunter.

Frank Dekova has an uncredited role as an Apache warrior. He was an Italian-American actor, born Frank Campanella in New York City, but often played Native American characters.

Eugenia Paul (born Eugenia Popoff; March 3, 1935 – May 24, 2010) had a short-lived career from 1954 to Gunfighters of Abilene in 1959.
